Suggested apps for 2.0

Post by Ercouper »

Everyone has their favorite apps of course but I'd like to suggest some good ones for inclusion in 2.0 maybe (?).

Opera (included VPN & ad blocker)
Xsane (best scanning app)
Shotwell (for photo viewing & organization)
Qbittorrent (the best I've found)
Plank (best dock if you like them)
Etcher (Balena Etcher) for writing iso's to thumb drives
Synaptic (best apt package manager)

Thanks for the suggestions Ben. They are duly noted.

I will make this thread "Sticky". Anybody else who has any requests is most welcome to add them to this list.

As from a security viewpoint I would suggest
  • KeePasXC
    VeraCrypt
would come in handy for basic security needs as encryption and password management...
Free as in Freedom, not as in free beer...
