Lol, awesome! :D

I will get this fix implemented in 1.0 ASAP and attempt it with 1.1 as well.

And thanks for the collaboration! That's a first. :)

I did a fresh install of 1.1 last night, ran sudo apt-mark hold libwebkit2gtk-4.0-37 before taking all available updates and everything was fine. :)

Noted on that, thanks!

I think I will just remake 1.1 with the apt-mark hold in mind. Actually, in addition to Webkit 2, we need to hold several programs, including Calculator (Galculator), Notepad (Mousepad), the start menu, the XFCE widgets in the taskbar bottom right, the entire GTK2 (long story) and others. These have all been tweaked. I think all will be good though after this fix.

Hoping to find some time to do this in the near future. Was also planning to move to Debian 12 base (Kumander Linux 2.0) this year, but we'll see how that pans out. I was initially planning for Kumander to be a collaborative effort, but until now it just hasn't really been possible. I will do everything I can to make that happen for 2.0!

Cheers mate and stay safe.

It sure sounds like a lot of work, Roy. However, Kumander is such a good distro that I'm sure it is worth the effort. I've got 24 Linux drives and Kumander is my favorite at this time.
As for things getting changed by updates, I guess I haven't looked close enough because I didn't notice any change in the start menu, widgets, mousepad or galculator getting changed by the upgrade. Everything looks very nice still and works as it should.
Keep up the great work. It is very much appreciated! :D
