I am just about finished creating the final version of the Kumander Linux 2.0 ISO file. It does indeed have this fix and UEFI boot works.
So please hang on for a day or two, and the new ISO will be available to download on the download page.

Update: In order to make UEFI work when creating the USB, you must follow these steps: Using Rufus: Select the ISO in Rufus. Set Partition scheme to GPT (for UEFI).
